Discover the energy sources that would clean our environment
Biomass occurs in the form of living or recently living plants and waste. Biomass energy is the energy which is contained inside plants and animals. As an energy source, biomass can either be used directly via combustion or produce heat,or directly after converting it to various forms of bio fuel. Conversion of biomass to bio fuel can be made by different methods ,they are thermal, chemical and biochemical methods. Today, Ethanol and bio diesel are the two most common types of bio fuel in use. Both are already present in gasoline in small amounts as an additive that helps reduce vehicle emissions. Ethanol, which is also called grain or pure alcohol is extracted from sugars and starches that have been fermented. Bio diesel is created by combining alcohol with an animal fat, vegetable oil, or recycled cooking grease. The advantage of bio fuels is that they're renewable, unlike traditional fossil fuels, carbon neutral and is widely available. Biomass is becoming very popular and getting worldwide acceptance day by day.
